A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, at which time you will receive your invoice and pre-tour documentation. 

The balance is due 90 days prior to your departure date. If your reservation is made less than 30 days before departure, the entire price of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Any changes during travel will be covered completely by the participants at their own expense. In the event of any of a major currency devaluation of more than 10%, Wine Travel Chile reserves the right to reprice itineraries, and the price may be adjusted for currency fluctuation at final payment.

Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure date will receive a 75% refund; 31–60 days, 50% of the trip price, and 0–30 days of departure date, no refund. 

Our cancellation policy is applicable to all portions of the trip you have contracted with us: land, tours, hotels and trip extensions. All cancellations must be via written notice and received by email.

Wine Travel Chile is not responsible for additional expenses that may occur as a result of the cancellation, such as no refunds for not purchasing travel insurance; airline cancellation fee, visa fees, vaccinations, purchases of clothing or equipment for the cancelled program or other expenses.

Wine Travel Chile is not responsible or liable for loss, damage or theft of personal luggage or belongings, personal injury, accident, or illness, or cancellations resulting from airline delays or natural disasters.

It is strongly recommended that clients have their own individual travel insurance, and it is their sole responsibility to obtain and purchase said travel insurance. 

The programs include outdoor physical activity and contact with nature, and therefore involve some level of risk, depending on a number of events and circumstances over which Wine Travel Chile has no control.

Wine Travel Chile cannot, therefore, be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur due to any act or omission of any such supplier or by reason of any other event over which it has no control.

The traveler’s personal data provided will be treated as strictly confidential and used only as absolutely necessary for booking services.
